OUTREACH REPORT, 6/20/2026
TEAM MEMBERS (14)
Korey, Randy, Peggy, Dan D., Loren, Daniel Y., Mick, Willy, Jan, Rebekah, Vangie, Don, Joshua, and Linda.
Joshua joined us for his first outreach. He speaks fluent Spanish and was a valuable addition to the team. He expressed interest in serving again and is welcome to return anytime.
Vangie prepared spaghetti with chicken sausage and meatballs, along with a marbled coffee cake topped with cinnamon.
The weather was beautiful—sunny with a gentle breeze.
Before departing, Don opened in prayer as the team gathered in a circle. We thanked God for His mercy and grace and asked Him to guide our conversations and touch the hearts of those we would meet. Korey shared from John 4:19-26.
Peggy and Linda had already organized the clothing and essentials for loading. Korey drove the passenger van while Don drove the essentials van.

OUTREACH TESTIMONIES & MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS
Bonnie’s Encounter
Bonnie shared about struggles involving both her son and daughter and became emotional during the conversation. As the team prayed for her, she continued opening up and shared that she had grown up as a Jehovah’s Witness.
During pre-outreach prayer, Korey sensed that the team would meet people who believed in God and had faith but did not truly know who they were worshiping. He felt the Lord would provide opportunities to point people directly to Jesus.
As the conversation continued, Korey asked Bonnie if she had ever heard the Gospel, the good news about Jesus Christ. She said she had not. Korey then opened a Bible and shared John 4:19-26, the same passage that had been read before outreach.
Korey explained the Gospel and asked Bonnie if she would like to invite Jesus into her life to help her. She said yes. The team prayed with her, and Bonnie prayed as well.
During prayer, Korey sensed there may be areas of unforgiveness and encouraged her that if the Lord was bringing anything to mind, she could surrender it to Jesus and choose forgiveness.
Bonnie began praying and asking Jesus to take away the suspicion she carried toward people around her, including friends and family. As she prayed, she became deeply emotional and continued crying out to the Lord.
The team then prayed for healing, freedom, and for the Holy Spirit to fill her. They also prayed that anything deceiving or oppressing her would leave in Jesus’ name.
Afterward, Bonnie shared that she felt lighter and felt better. The team encouraged her to get connected to a local church, gave her a Bible, and spent time loving and encouraging her before departing.
Jordan Learns About Prayer
Jordan didn’t know what prayer was for. Mick explained that prayer is how we get to talk to Jesus. He explained that Jesus died for our sins and gives us prayer so that we may have a personal closeness through Him.
Mick shared the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, prayed for Jordan to grow closer to Jesus, and gave him a Bible.
