Prayer before heading out.

Our outreach team (Korey, Peggy, Steve, Colleen, Randy, Daniel D., Raymond, Dan Y., Fernando, and Linda) gathered for prayer and preparation before heading out.

Korey read Scripture (John 10:10; John 14:6–7), and from 12:15–12:45 PM the team discussed routes, locations, and vehicles. The van was loaded at 1:00 PM, and the team departed by 1:15 PM. This outreach also included Colleen documenting the team with photos for the first time.

Martin received a coat and essentials.
Mateo spoke with Daniel and was prayed for.

Transit Center – 277th & Pacific Hwy (1:45 PM)

At the transit center, several individuals were encountered.

Vantae spoke with Korey and said he needed shoes. Korey took shoes off his own feet and gave them to him. He watched him put them on to make sure they fit. Vantae received food, essentials, and prayer.

Jesse was prayed for by Peggy and Randy.
Kimberly was prayed for by Peggy and given food and essentials.

Angelina needed a coat. Peggy found the smallest coat in the bag and gave it to her. She remembered Linda from a previous outreach at the Dollar Tree location and received prayer.

A man who asked to be called “Man” came with Angelina. He also needed a coat and was prayed for by Dan Y. He asked for prayer for his mom who was sick and received food and essentials.

Calvary Lutheran / Home Home Area

The team passed Calvary Lutheran Church and continued to Home Home. No one was present, and the vehicles that had been there during a previous outreach were gone.

Safeway – 320th & Pacific Hwy (3:30 PM)

At this location, the team encountered an outreach from Christian Faith Center. Linda met Kim Christy, an outreach lead, and exchanged contact information. Korey had already spoken with Tony, another outreach lead, during a previous outreach.

Christian Faith Center had tables set up with clothes, food, beverages, and supplies. Linda found a pair of shoes in the shoe bin for Korey. The groups gathered together for prayer.

Celebration Park (3:45 PM)

Natasha was living out of her car with clothes in the back. She said she was there with her friend Rizzo, who was riding around on a motorbike. She received prayer from Dan Y. and was given essentials for herself and Rizzo.

Ray was working on his RV. Korey spoke with him about his situation and asked if he wanted prayer. He received group prayer from Daniel, Randy, Fernando, and Raymond.

Day Center Area (4:15 PM)

The Day Center property is now gated and no longer accessible.
